This section explains how to view all the content that is published on Webstore for Education without needing to log on. In internet jargon, you are an anonymous browser.
First time users who have a password and want more help should go to the Features overview.
'Click' refers to a single left click on your mouse, as does 'choose' when it refers to a menu. Right click will be stated clearly wherever necessary.
Emphasis is made in several ways. Bold or 'speech marks' are often used. Bold italics show a word or phrase that is explained in the Glossary. Finding your way through drop down menus is shown with forward slash eg. File / Save As meaning click on File, then click on Save As.
Further links are suggested at the bottom of each page. These always include the 'next' help page and the glossary. You can always scroll back to the top of a help page by clicking the up and down arrows or dragging the bar at the far right-hand side of the browser window.
If a page you are reading recommends another page which is underlined it is
a hyperlink and you can
click on it to view it. A quick route back is then
clicking on the back arrow
on the top left of your browser to return to the previous page.
Sometimes it easier to print out a page of the help to refer to when you are working on Webstore. The quickest way of doing this is pointing the cursor at the middle of the page you require, right clicking and then choosing 'Print'.
