Features Overview

This section gives an overview of the Webstore features available to you when you are logged on.

It is recommended that you have already read First Time Users to find out about the features available to anonymous browsers.

In addition, some features are only available to certain types of user, so it is recommended that you read Users Overview

Logging on to Webstore means you can access the features made available to you by your organisation's administrator.

The table below gives an overview of all these features.

Organisation Home Page

Browse (Public)

View Organisations' home page(s), public Folders and public Page Groups

Search

For Page Groups across Webstore or per organisation, author, key words and/or date.

Logon / Browse (Members)

View Home pages, Folders and Page Groups for which you have permissions. Other folders stay hidden.

Folder Options

Add Page Groups consisting of Web pages, Any other type of single file, or Batch sets of files, all created off-line.
Page Group Wizard to add pictures and text online.
Change Folder Properties.
Folde Search.
Change All Page Group functions
Change Folder Access Groups.

Page Group Options

Publish or Recommend Publication.
Change Page Details (although you cannot edit the page online).
Delete Page.
Assign as Home Page for an Organisation or Index page for a Folder.
Change ownership of Page Group.

Options

Change your Password.
User Manager allows adding single users, adding multiple users or editing users for the organisation.
Group Manager allows the making of Groups of Users to make permissions to folders easier to administrate.
Define Keywords means an Organisation can define its own list of additional key words.
Review Expired Page Groups i.e. allows only administrators to view those page groups that have reached their time-to-live and have not been updated.
Set logo for your organisation's Wizard page groups
View your Private Folder.
Log off. Very important to guard your password.

Private Folders

Each individual user has their own private web folder, for saving direct from Microsoft Office 2000 applications, or by dragging and dropping into Windows Explorer from other applications.
